I am sure many of you will have watched the press conference from the Prime Minister where he gave general information about school closures from Monday. Within this he also gave indication that for key worker children and those children who are vulnerable the situation would be different. However, as yet the specifics of this have not been provided or the detail of how this will work.
At Palatine we will open as usual tomorrow and Friday and the staff will, as ever, provide the children with lots of great learning activities.
I, along with my other headteacher colleagues within the Thrive Federation (Palatine, Oak Grove College, Herons Dale and Cornfield) will work together with the local authority and the heads of all the West Sussex special schools to understand the detail of the government’s plan as this information is provided.
Please do rest assured that I will provide as full information as possible as soon as I can.
Thank you for your continued support.
