23rd March 2020
I hope you and your families are well and coping with these very challenging times.
Thank you so much for all your help as we work out the logistics of ‘school’ over the coming week. Today went smoothly for the children who needed to come to school; they have had a lovely even if rather quiet and unusual day.
For those of you self-isolating at home please do keep in mind that government advice is very clear that if at all possible children should remain at home, for their safety, for yours and the safety of others. Please do not send your children back if this has not been agreed. Equally if you did require a school place and this was agreed but have since managed to arrange for your child to remain at home please do let us know. This really is the safest course of action.
For those of you at home I do hope the home learning packs and social stories are proving useful. Please do let us know if you have not received yours yet so we can make sure we get it to you.
We are still working through the longer term plan for the coming weeks which includes how we will stay in touch with all our families during this time. I will be in touch again once we have finalised this (and I say that loosely as it is a very changing world we find ourselves in)!
Thank you again for all your warm wishes and support.
Very best wishes
