16th October 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

Short and sweet this week as we have had a technical glitch at school with the computers and phone system which our wonderful technical experts have been working to resolve since 2.30 today! Thankfully we are back up and running now.

It is hard to believe we have just one week left of this half term.  The children are continuing to engage and enjoy their learning.  This week’s highlights have been some wonderful roman shields, some excellent reading and writing about broomsticks, some great role play and children extending the range of words they are using. One of our pupils has said ‘up, round and round and ready steady go’ this week. Another has worked really hard on making good choices. Another led his teacher to the sensory story props and the book that went with it, showed her how he wanted her to join in with the play and turned the pages of the story to go with it! Absolutely fabulous!

I would also like to thank you all with supporting the children in coming to school. We have had a record breaking 97% attendance week and that is something we can all be proud of at this time! Equally, I want to thank you for following the guidelines and ensuring that children isolate when they need to. The diligence and respectful way the whole community is following the procedures is greatly appreciated. Thank you
