School Performance

In the summer term, all pupils have a final pupil progress meeting where pupils overall progress across the academic year is discussed and evaluated. We ask questions about the progress pupils have made in each area of need, the evidence that shows this and about the learning approaches and tools that have helped pupils to make progress.

Using descriptors that describe levels of progress, the teacher and leadership member chairing the meeting agree an overall judgement of progress for the year (using the language of outstanding, good, requires improvement and inadequate).

We can use these judgements to evaluate the progress of pupils at Palatine as a whole.
